When the bride messaged us about 2 weeks prior her wedding, we knew she had to be stressed. She was very direct and a fellow photographer in the area. When she told us the issue with her engagement session or why she had to book a last min wedding photographer, it was a no brainer. We fell in love with her spirit and the overall wedding details. The location was specific and meaningful to not only her & the groom but their families. "Family is something that is very important to us so our venue is on family land that my parents and grandparents own. In the background is Devil's Canyon, family property that was homesteaded by my great grandparents. I'm excited to have that in the background and setting for our wedding". When we read that, we knew this was going to be a intimate and emotional wedding. We had never been to Blair and was excited to travel there. When we got to the beautiful home and saw the landscape. All you could say was "WOW" it was breathtaking. The backdrop with was made by the father of the bride was stunning. The background was amazing and beautiful. The setup for the ceremony was outdoors and the reception was warm. It got cold quick but that didn't stop close friends and family from celebrating the union of these two. They looked amazing together and the bouquets were detailed perfectly. Kenna, the bride knew what she wanted and she looked gorgeous in her dress. As we photographed her preparation with the bridal party, she was smiling from ear to ear. The groom was relaxed and chill but he looked handsome. We loved how intimate the wedding was and it was all about family. We captured bonding times and the smores bar was incredible. Not to mention the wedding cake and how different it was. Never seen a wedding cake like it. The bride & groom also had a handmade back drop that was creative and modern. One of our favs and the couple danced the night away.
